Prior to joining G Square in 2025, Matteo was an Investment Executive in the Healthcare team at Synova, a pan-European private equity fund focused primarily on software and technology. Before Synova, he worked as a Strategy Consultant at IQVIA, where he advised leading global healthcare-focused investment firms, biopharma companies, and public health organisations. Matteo has a scientific background and started his career researching novel cancer immunotherapies at Imperial College in London.
Matteo holds an MSc in Immunology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Biochemistry from King’s College London. He also trained as an Officer in the Royal Navy Reserves.
