Laurent, the Founder, and Chief Executive Officer of G Square has over 30 years of experience in healthcare private equity and venture capital investing.
He started his career at the global healthcare company Baxter International in Chicago.
In 1994, Laurent joined Apax Partners in Paris as a Partner responsible for developing the healthcare investment practice. He invested in early-stage, growth, and buy-out opportunities in Europe and the US, achieving numerous exits, including IPOs on European and US stock markets. He left Apax in 2007 to create G Square, first European private equity firm focusing exclusively on healthcare investments.
Laurent is a graduate in Medicine from the University of Paris and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.
