Keys Group, the independent provider of residential children’s care and specialist education is pleased to announce the release of its first Annual Quality Report. The report charts the journey that the business has taken since August 2017, when Keys Group was bought by G Square and documents the successes to date. It also demonstrates how the business is continually improving, meeting and exceeding a range of standards and expectations.
The new senior leadership team has already implemented a series of changes with the objective of establishing Keys Group as the best provider of high quality residential children’s care and education services, and this transformational journey is now well underway.
The Quality Report clearly shows that since its change of ownership two years ago, Keys Group has focused heavily on quality improvement and recognises that for quality of care, support and education to be of the highest level, the culture of the organisation must be open, honest, transparent and, above all, put children and young people at the very centre of all that it does.
Quality improvement projects to date have included:

  • strengthening its service model
  • increasing compliance with a range of quality measures
  • implementing clear systems and processes to help keep young people safe and to support staff
  • investment in an online quality management system (Radar), in order to generate and monitor accurate quality data to evidence continued commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people

Trish Lee, CEO of Keys Group, said:
“In 2018/19 ensuring that we deliver high quality, safe and effective services to each and every one of our children and young people has remained our number one priority, and we are extremely pleased to have made significant progress across a range of important areas. We are passionate about supporting young people to achieve great outcomes, have a clear strategy for investment in our existing services and have ambitions to continue to grow and provide even more young people with the opportunity to realise their potential.”
